Our Approach to Children's Privacy

ABC Fun is a children's educational game for learning letters, numbers, phonics, matching, and tracing. We designed the current web app so children can play without creating an account or sending gameplay records to an ABC Fun account or backend.

Information ABC Fun Does Not Ask For

ABC Fun does not ask children to provide their name, email address, phone number, birthday, location, or other contact information. The game contains no account sign-in, chat, social features, advertising, or purchases.

Information Stored on Your Device

The web app stores favorites, stars, stickers, settings, and applicable preferences or progress in the browser on the device. These settings can include display choices and Sound, Music, Voice Volume, and Music Volume preferences.

The service worker also caches the app and its local assets so ABC Fun can continue to work offline. Browser data can be removed through ABC Fun's reset control or the browser/device controls available to the parent or caregiver.

Tracing and Gameplay Information

Tracing input is processed locally while a child draws. ABC Fun does not intentionally upload tracing drawings, favorites, stickers, progress, or settings to an ABC Fun server.

How the Web App Is Delivered

The current ABC Fun web/PWA version is hosted using Cloudflare Pages. While the device is online, ordinary HTTPS requests are needed to download the web app and its local game and audio assets, check for updates, and serve the site. As with ordinary web hosting, the hosting provider can receive technical request information needed to deliver and protect the service.

This ordinary hosting traffic is separate from children's gameplay information. ABC Fun does not intentionally attach tracing drawings, favorites, stickers, progress, or game settings to those delivery requests.

Advertising and Analytics

ABC Fun contains no advertising and does not use third-party analytics in the application. ABC Fun does not track children across websites or apps and does not sell personal information.

Third-Party Services

Cloudflare Pages provides web hosting and delivery for the current PWA. Game fonts, icons, music, and narration are served as local ABC Fun assets rather than loaded from third-party advertising, analytics, font, AI, or text-to-speech services.

Heart narration is pre-generated and stored as local audio files. The production game does not contact a remote AI or text-to-speech service during gameplay.

Children's Privacy

ABC Fun is intended to provide a simple educational experience without asking a child to create a profile or communicate with other users. Parents and caregivers should contact ABC Fun if they have questions about the current web app's privacy practices.

Data Sharing

ABC Fun does not sell personal information. The application has no feature for sharing a child's gameplay information with advertisers, analytics companies, or other users.

Data Retention

Locally stored gameplay preferences remain on the device until they are reset in ABC Fun or removed using browser/device controls. ABC Fun does not operate an account database that retains a child's gameplay profile.

Changes to This Policy

If ABC Fun's verified practices change, this policy will be updated and its effective date will be revised. A future native iOS version must be audited separately before App Store submission; this policy describes the current web/PWA implementation.
